The Omni Run Club Social (O.R.C.S.) is a new community initiative designed to bring together runners of all abilities for a relaxed, sociable run followed by food, drink, and good company at Omni.
Conceived by our Front of House Manager, Maddy – an experienced runner and active member of several run clubs – this event aims to pair physical wellbeing and connection with the hospitality and heart of Omni.
This inaugural edition offers two guided route options:
A scenic 10K route taking in the coastline, lighthouse views, and the wooded trails of Holywell Dene.
A gentler 5K alternative, perfect for those newer to running or simply looking for a more laid-back pace.
Both routes are led by experienced runners from the Omni team, with an emphasis on inclusion and accessibility. This is a social run — not a race — and no participant will be left behind.
What Your Ticket Includes:
Participation in a guided 10K or 5K social run
Access to Omni before and after the run, for coffees, cakes, and Two By Two schooners
A freshly prepared Omni banh mi (vegan option available), served post-run
Mid-run refreshments and surprises
Time and space to connect with other runners over coffee, cake, or a post-run beer
Optional Omni Run Club merchandise available on the day
Event Schedule:
10:30am – Arrival, warm-up, and secure storage of belongings
11:00am – Run begins
11:30am-ish – 5K runners return
12:00pm-ish – 10K runners return
12:00–12:30pm – Banh mis served
12:30–1:30pm – Social hour, refreshments, and relaxation
Whether you're a seasoned runner or looking to take your first few steps in a welcoming group environment, the Omni Run Club Social offers an opportunity to engage in movement, connect with community, and enjoy quality food and drink in a relaxed setting.

Omni at 10 — what a month.
Our Birthday Bashes were a delight (thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us), and yes… we even squeezed in a staff party of our own. Let’s just say there were sore heads, full hearts, and plenty of stories we’ll be laughing about for the next decade.
But beyond the balloons and the cake, September gave us a chance to take stock. Ten years in, we know who makes Omni what it is: you, our customers. Our incredible suppliers. The delivery men and women who keep us moving. Our neighbours. Our community.
It takes a village to run a restaurant, and we’re endlessly grateful to be part of this one.
Here’s to the next chapter.

Feel free to give us a call if you miss the cut-off time, there’s a possibility we can take your order over the phone but no guarantee.

A reservation for tables Tuesday to Saturday is cancelled very easily – we know life gets in the way sometimes – please refer to your booking confirmation email for further instructions - if you didn't book online please call the cafe.
Supper Clubs...
If you really need to cancel (really need!) Please contact us as soon as you possibly can to let us know: on the day is too late.
Cancellations made before the day will be offered a place at a future Supper Club - although it may not be the next one as we sell out so quickly.
But please try to come... in these strange days your empty table leaves a gap in the café ... and we need you to help us create a warm, convivial evening for all!
(If for any reason we are advised to close down and our event cannot go ahead - our supper clubs will be rescheduled.)

Reservations
You can make a reservation using the calendar at the top of this page. If you can’t access your preferred booking date or time, this means that we are fully booked or closed. Please note - you can only book outside tables over the phone. If you would like to make a booking and your party size is larger than 12 people, please email info@omnicafe.co.uk. We also offer private hire on school nights and Sundays. To cancel or amend your reservation please refer to your booking confirmation email for further instructions. If you don’t have a confirmation email, you don’t have a booking.
Private Hire
Looking at our bookings diary for larger private groups into 2025, we see we've already a really diverse range of bookings - and that's exciting! We look forward to welcoming: a 1st birthday, followed closely by an 80th - there’s christenings, weddings, reunions too! The room is yours to transform - we're there to listen, assist, talk through menus and make it all happen with warmth and professionalism. If you do have any of the above coming up, or any other reason to gather on a Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (our weekends are overflowing!) - do get in touch with Matt at info@omnicafe.co.uk - all are very welcome!
